So I got a new computer, and so I installed GTAIV and I don't want to redo all of the missions again.....I found a file that has 100% installation on GTAIV and I would like to put that to my savegames file in my Documents under Rockstar > GTAIV > savegames. But the problem is, I can't find that file. All it says in that Rockstar Files > GTAIV is User Music, and Videos. That's all. Now usually I should of found a savegame file in there. Any clue?

Also, important note, I only finish 1 mission so far, its the mission when we start the game, and I just drove back to my safehouse and saved. I haven't even got to the 2nd mission which is giving 'Michelle' and Mallorie a ride back.

Only using xlive.dll will enable savegames to be placed in the documents folder. If you use dsound, you must stop using it and switch to xlive.

Soo Icon, what you are saying is to reinstall my RC2 and tick on the box of xliveless instead of dsound? Ah, sure, okay, thanks I'll try that. :)

Edit: Alright so, I can seem to get that, I did that and it didn't show up in the doc folders......

Uh yeah, thats what I'm having trouble to find. It doesn't appear in my docs folder. I even save the game on 2 slots.

Sharp. have you tried searching for the savefile? If the game starts and you have saves present. it should be there somewhere.

You might have the appdata folder hidden. thats default in Windows. chosse show hidden and system files, and you will find it :)

You must first enable Windows to show hidden folders, as Appdata where the savegame folder is located is hidden.

But you can try to open My Computer, and in the addressfield you can enter :

C:UsersyourusernameAppDataLocalRockstar Games\

To make it so you can see hidden folders, do this:

1. Click Start
   
2. Click Control Panel
   
3. Click Appearence and Personalization
   
4. Click 'Show hidden files and folders' under Folder Options
   
5. The option for hidden folders is five check-boxes down
   

I tried searching up 'savegames' and it doesn't even show. I went to the folder options and I clicked on 'Show all folders' and still nothing. Can you guys help me throughout Teamviewer?
