FPS drop

Featured Replies

I've recently started using Traffic Flow v5 and have merely two modded police cars and they're well tested and admired by many.So I'm suspecting that Traffic Flow's tendency to spawn responding ESUs and retaining the abandoned vehicles (including those ESUs) is the cause of my sudden drop in FPS as well as glitching textures.Has anyone found a method to avoid this, yet?

Thanks in advance.

What do you mean by ESU? Other Emergency Vehicles that dispatch every now and then?

E.S.U = Emergency Services Units, Basically, hes speaking of the random Emergency vehicles (Such as EMS and FDs) Responding through out the city due to Traffic Flow V5.

Help us, help you!

You can change the EMV/EMU frequency to almost barely spawning. I think Sam has the default set at 8

It's because you use ELS, that you keep finding them abandoned. ELS keeps vehicles from despawning, you know...

@Sharp- JAM is right.

@Nutt- Wha...? View dist. more than detail dist. ? It'll look so awkward. Anyways,I was experiencing avg. 56FPS before, and now it has dropped to 17!!!!

i7-2600k@ 3.40 GHz *stock*

GTX560Ti

2X4GB G.Skill RIPJAWS

1TB Seagate Barracuda @ 7200rpm

Corsair TX750W

@Break- I avoid ELS at ALL costs... 'nuff said.

Try drastically reducing the frequency that trafficflow ticks at and reduce the occurrence of random emergency vehicles by making the figure higher in the trafficflow configuration file.

But what about the abandoned vehicles. Not just ES men,but civvies too leave those residuals here and there... Normally,I like to clean up the area before proceeding any further with the investigations on crime scene.15 minutes later, when I pass by the exact location, responding to a different callout, the vehicles are still in place.I mean this is realistic in a way,but the realism is causing too much of my VRAM.I'd like my fictional LC back.

And as a plus point from R*,my 1024 mb VRAM is only detected as 987 mb,with only 706 mb used.I increase it from 706,and BOOM! Environment gone...:confused:

EDIT: I noticed nobody was surprised at this much drop in FPS!!
