"Invisible" left door?

Hello everyone!

So, before i'm going to talk about the topic itself, I'd like to advice moderators that since i can't find out a way of doing so myself, you can close the topic of these posts if you want to, just to get that attention to them.

Then, to the topic itself.

Today i was driving my Highway Patrol Utility vehicle, when i suddenly realised that i was hitting vehicles i shouldn't have been, and as showed in this picture ( '> ) i hit that lightpole down. The only part of the vehicle that was close to it, was the front left door, IF it would have been open, which it was not.

It seems like it possibly could be the door stays open at all times, but is only visible if it is supposed to be open, and I have no idea how to fix or troubleshoot this, thus any help would be greatly appreciated!

Regards,

Xariez

You seem to be having a lot of problems with your car models....Maybe you should reinstall the game and start from scratch.

That is true, don't ask why I didn't think of this before, lol.

And Yes, I am, I have reinstalled the game alot of times but it may need another one now that I found a ENB thats not just screwing with me, however, I'll format my whole C: drive during this week for a upcomming LAN, so it'll be done by then!

So, I have formatted my computer, I reinstalled everything and guess what? The same issue is still there! So, I really have no idea where to go after this ;(

Whose car is that?

And yes like matt1008 said, it could be (actually I can't even think of anything else right now) the car mod itself. Perhaps the collision is set up badly. You'll need zmodeler to fix that. You'll have to check all the meshes ending in [COL] and see if it's near your left front door. If anything is sticking out, that'll be the faulty collision mesh.

It could just be the model

I'm thinking it is, yeah, since it doesn't happen on any other model

Yeah it's probably a bad collision. If it's a game breaking bug for you, you could try my CHP Ford PIU:

(make sure to use the settings and handling though)

I have looked at that before, and I can't say wether I liked it, disliked it or even downloaded it. Will give it a shot when I get time though, cheers! :)
