SEATTLE (Reuters) - The shooter who opened fire at a high school in Washington State on Friday was a student at the campus and is now dead following the incident, police said. There have been a total of 72 school shooting in 2013, and more then 200 over the past 3 years.

This is so sad...Last Tuesday, it was 1 year since the Sparks School Shooting..

It's been the top story ever since around 11:00 PST. I didn't go to school today. And the Tacoma District is on semi-lockdown since they've been calling every 5 min.

Well now, isn't this just great, feel sorry for the poor kids that got wounded they did not deserved to be shot over something stupid.

Yeah..But bulling playing a HUGE factor on this (when they are a student) and sadly the school doesn't do anything, it's just sad for everybody, even the shooter.

I am neutral on this but the thing is is both sides has an argument. Anti gun arguments would be that there wouldn't be shootings and the police force would be more effective and pro gun arguments would be that it is written in the second amendment and that it is a great american past time. I personally believe that background checks should be done on a individuals family too so if one man has son who has gone to heavy counselling for bullying he should not be aloud a gun or if a psychiatrist says that the boys issues are too small to go on a shooting then he can have a gun.

I'm sure that will happen, because people just cant hold these "kids" accountable for some reason.. its not the gun that kills people its the person that aims and pulls the trigger.. and even then most of these high school shootings are by people who are too young to buy guns anyway's

I don't want to change this topic to a "gun control" topic so i'll make my statement short.

 

Make guns illegal (or take them away) = only criminals and government will have guns (don't really want that)

 

Most Democrats (mainly) don't think about this thoroughly...they think if you take guns away, all (not literally) crime stops...

A man should have the right to protect himself and his family... and there is a bunch more reasons why guns are good...but like I said, don't want to turn this in to a gone control topis...so I guess i'll stop.

Exactly what my father said. Taking guns away won't solve anything people can and will do stupid things with or without guns.
