Dear Community,

I have a very weird problem. I downloaded a mod that somehow deleted my pedprops.img and componentped.img and I forgot to make a backup. and This prevented me from going on duty because none of the peds could spawn. I was wondeirng if someone could copy one of their backups of their pedprops.img and componentped.img I have tried using the recovery tool but It wasn't able to work since I have a steam digital copy of the game.

P.S. Thx and I know I am very stupid also, I dont care if any of your files are modded I just want those 2 files

G17, Nor anyone else (I cannot condone their actions), Can upload any of the stock game files, Due to copyright infrigment acts with Rockstar Games, If you have it on steam, validate your game files, Or just simply reinstall, JAM.

Thank you very much for responding. I have no idea what validating my game files is and I might want to try that because I have a lot installed on my current game so uninstalling is not the best priority for me.

First off, Your welcome bud, Second, If your GTA IV is on Steam, Open up your game libary, Right click on GTA IV, Go down to proprities, Click on Local Game Files, And hit, Verify Integrity Of games Cache.

If you do not have it on steam however, And I understand how annoying it can be to reinstall ALL your mods, Look through your directory, Scripts, Etc. Try to remember ALL the mods you installed, Back, them up, Re install, re install the mods, OR (this ones kinda complicated), Copy your ENTIRE directory, Place it in a GOOD back up location (somthing like a folder on your desktop), Unistall the game, Re install it, Grab the two files you need, replace directorys, And then place the needed files in, I hope some of this helps, JAM.

At first I thought it was a sticky explaining the policy on backups and why we can't provide them, so I was thinking "why remove *that*?"

Well,if we keep the *rules* aside for sometime and then think,THANK YOU SO MUCH,BUD!!

Back on earth--This ain't legal,BTW.Especially when PIPA & SOPA brothers are around.
