Nice touch and I hope to see the same on anniversaries of other countries which have had some kind of terrorist bombing such as the London bombings.

To explain this a little more, I added this back when 1.0 was in early development to test the "text" feature and thought it would be a nice easter egg. I then kind of forgot about it, but hey, today you remind me :P That's also the reason why every ped says it and you can't turn it off, because it was partly a text feature test and not solely intended as a reminder. I'm sure you can all deal with the game being a little laggy for this one special day though.

 

I'd suggest to take screenshots to save these moments! :)

I wish i could find the picture that shows an islamic protest in the UK if im not mistaken.., it shows two men holding signs next to eachother.

One is holding a sign that says

 

"behead those who insult islam"

 

and the guy RIGHT NEXT TO HIM has a sign that says

 

"Islam is not a violent religion"

Not to be rude or anything, I feel sorry for USA but my country was bombarded many many times with many victims. Anyway, the addon is making my game extremely laggy so it's unplayable. Is there any option to turn it off?

Also I played yesterday with my wife and was very surprised. I thought it was a very nice gesture and apparently also a beautiful memory. The day will never forget. However, I found that people had more to say. Such as, for example. How rescue people have felt different fonts. For me as a German it was very very touching. For some awards went'm really under the skin. A very nice idea.

 

This was a pretty annoying feature, I didn't feel the realism since every fucking ped I walked past had text floating above their head.

Indeed, it's not a big deal and it seems like most members here appreciated the gesture. I thought it occured a little too often, but I simply stopped LCPDFR and enjoyed GTA IV instead. There's no need to cop an attitude :) 

It was just for one day and it got annoying? I think it's time to set some priorities straight.
