Unable to take Screenshots in IV

Featured Replies

Damn! Fraps was working nice until 2 days ago. Then,I don't know what happened but the counter stopped showing up in game.Tried reinstalling game, removing freshly installed scripts but to no avail.Another software, wegame, also didn't work. But both these softwares ran fine with NFS:The Run.What could be the problem???

Will it solve the problem? Actually, fraps was running fine until 2 days ago.Its just that suddenly it has stopped showing counter in IV (and only IV,not in any other game)

you probably accidentally hit the change counter location key, happened to me a few times already.

Open Fraps go to the "FPS" tab and see if "hide overlay" is ticked. If it is, select the normal counter location there and you should be good to go.

I was using Fraps before. But after the counter disappeared, even Prt Scrn doesn't work.Gives me black screen.

Edit: I've already checked,Hide Overlay,Break.Its not ticked.Also,as I've said,the problem is with IV only.

Yes, when using print screen button in gta iv you will get a black screen. Change your windows theme to windows classic when you want to take a screenshot. When you are finished change it back to what your theme was before. have to do it as well.

Hit F12 a few times and you should see the overlay re-appear
