Who's Looking Forward To The Crew?

Featured Replies

I saw the new trailer for it and it looks amazing. It's like those old NFS games with next gen graphics!

When you say the old NFS games, you must mean Underground, which isn't old (maybe by the standards of a teenager, since NFS started in the 90s), nor is it the roots of the series. Old Need for Speed games would be NFS I, II and III: Hot Pursuit. Those screenshots don't seem to share anything in common with the original games other than the fact that the cars pictured are actual sports cars, not kit cars or tuners.

  • I am! Absolutely loved the Closed Beta of the Beta version of the game, it was amazing! And theres going to be another beta starting on 25th of this month and ending on 29th so if you havent signed u

  • I hope its nothing like Rivals then. Most modern racing Need For Speed games (since The Run) are having a pathetic and poor excuse for a story. A narrator speaking in the background during the cutscen

I mean Underground-Carbon when I say that, as I see them as the older style of NFS, rather than the new style they have been going down since HP 2010

Considering the fact that HP2010 had playable cop career and the awesomest graphics an i3 could run at that time, I'd say HP2010 is still my favorite. And just in case an old-timer comes screaming, yes I too have played NFS 2, NFS 2 SE and all those older installments.

I'm not saying HP 2010 is bad, because I had alot of fun. What I didn't like was them putting Most Wanted name on a Burnout game, and then having a Burnout style ever since. Hopefully NFS 2015 is more like the older NFS games (Underground-Carbon).

The oldest NFS I played was 3 Hot Pursuit, but it wasnt the first NFS I played. That would have been the original Underground.

I did buy Rivals and it is a fun game, but once you have done all the speed lists, and got all the cars, there ain't much to do.

Could have been better if there was more than 6 players on 1 map

I missed out on all the games between Most Wanted 1 and Hot Pursuit. However Most Wanted 1 was pretty fun with all its storyline. If I were play it today as a gaming enthusiast (and not nostalgically), I would probably crown it the worst NFS ever, however, in comparison to today's NFS games, MW 1 was a whole lot better.

Truer words have never been spoken. Wait, what? People play it even after unlocking everything? I mean I just play the storyline of the games (Grand Theft Auto is an exception here, yes) and then I ride into the sunset on a horse hunting for a new game. Sometimes I don't even unlock everything, I just play the main storyline and thats that.

Well, Most games, I do the story and anything else worth doing (Thats why on PSN I have 1300 Trophies and still no platinums). The only game I ever got all acheivements or trophies on was MW 1 on the 360, but thats because the only acheivements are for beating the blacklist. I do play games after I do the storyline, I do it for GTA (Obviously), Older NFS', Driver, Hitman and very few others. I loved the old MW. I actually won every race except one of Razor's which is a very long circuit in Rockport that takes over 10 minutes to do. I do try to unlock everything on games (Spent ages doing that on Driver 4). It depends on the game for me.

I think we are kinda going off topic though, going from The Crew, to NFS and how much we play game before we get a new one.

Well, the point is being a racer, not a cop,

Still would be a fun aspect of the game... I mean look at midnight club LA, Street racing open world with custom cars yet you can buy police charger and impala just for the fun of it and not get caught unless you do something stupid to show your not a cop[like drive on sidewalk and ect]

I'm fine with a little cop minigame of sorts, like getting in a Crown Vic and chasing your friends, what I don't want is weapons and Zonda Police Cars. I want a bit of realism if they add it in, it's why I dont like RIVALS, hated that game.
