Best Graphics Mod combo for GTA 4 EFLC?

Featured Replies

Hello all. Now before you judge me I did some extensive searching in the forums and youtube before I made this post and could not find what I am looking for. I have been doing some research on graphic enhancing mods and would like some feedback on what people use or think works best. I am currently running on GTA 4 Episodes of Liberty City, ELS V8 and LCPDFR v1.0c. PC specs are not an issue.

Do I use CryENB, IceEnhancer, Games4vids enb, timecycle modifiers, HD road/tree textures, HD ped textures?

Are there any conflicts with different patches and versions of LCPDFR and ELS?

Anyone have any good combinations they use? Thanks for your input!

Kinda hard to say...it comes down to how you want your game to look..like Character Shading, Bright Lights for ELS, Reflections, etc I use CryENB v2 with a GTA V Timecycle and I like the way it looks for me but someone else might not prefer it,,,as far as Road Textures you can choose between GTA V road textures in GTA IV and DKT70's Road Textures. Trees by DKT70 are pretty good and I never really cared if the ped was HD but if it was it was a bonus but it depends on what branch of Law Enforcement you want to play unless you mean all peds then there is also a mod for that as well.

I believe CryENB V1/V2 is the most popular option.  If your PC specs are not an issue, than I recommend an ENB rather than just a timecycle.  Look in the gallery and find images that you like best, then get the ENB that they have (it will most likely be CryENB lol).  HD roads and trees are recommended too.  No conflicts.

GTAV | LSPDFR 0.4.8 | ELS | NaturalVision Remastered/ENB/ReShade

ICEnhancer is probably better with GTAIV on 1.0.4.0. ACOD Prodigy might chime in about it, he knows much more than I do. I tried it out and didn't like it that much.

CryENB v1 looks way better, but is meh performance wise in general. V2 is much better performance wise, but doesn't look as good IMO.

I'm currently using VisonENB for now. I'll probably go back to Cry after awhile.

I would consider Vision if I could get rid of the Black Bars

Supposedly the author said that this fixes it

if you go to enbeffect.fx and find the line called  "define Blackbars"   to disable the bars, just add  // before define. like this

//Define Blackbars, and it should be disabled
