[HELP] - Turned Wheels

Featured Replies

Hello guys!
I searched several times on many gta4-download-sites if there is a script mod which allows you to leave the car with turned wheels.
I hope You know what I mean..
In all GTA-Series games you know the situation when You leave the car, the front wheels stay 'straight' instead to be 'turned'.
So I'd like to ask You if You found a script mod like this or is it possible to make it.
I attached a small picture which explains what I mean.

Thanks for reading this post and I hope You can help me!

As far as I am aware such a feature is not actually possible to make in GTA IV.

I was going to say the same as Luke there, I have never heard of this sort of script and I do not think it is actually possible.

Really? Damn..

But I get a feeling that I've seen a mod like this for GTA SA.

That small script would be a very cool mod which would give some realism into the game.

I wish I knew something about scripting so I'd do that for all.

If a modder could figure out how IV sets the wheel angle on the dummies from the model, they could potentially store the last known value before resetting the angle to 0 degrees and force the value on that individual vehicle's wheels.

You did see such a mod.

If it was possible for SA, why not IV?

Well that isn't necessarily the case. Although it could still be possible, not all things between the GTAs are the same, for example, cars from SA cannot just go into IV because they need to be converted to the proper format.

What I'm meaning is that it's by the same developer, same game, so surly there must be similar code or whatever s needed within the games, to do similar things, hopefully

The only thing that realistically the same is the rage engine. Everything else is relative.

I have tried guys, I did try. But I saw nothing which glaringly said "you can control the wheel angle" I googled everything possible even with my knowledge of cars.

I'll keep trying but I have other priorities to deal with first. But to my knowledge it isn't possible right now.

Hope this clears up things for you guys.

Ps. Don't get too excited that I'm trying.
