This makes me think, what's going to happen to Malaysia Airlines? On average, 500 people die every year in aircraft crashes, Malaysia Airlines has lost 525 people in only 4 months. People just will not want to fly with them anymore, which is a shame because I've flown with them many times and they're a great airline.

Also, I found out today that Brisbane couple Rodney Burrows and his wife lost their son on MH370 and now they've lost their step-granddaughter on MH17. That is seriously unlucky.

I just don't understand why that flight path was approved. It was known that 2 military aircraft had already been shot down flying similar routes, yet they still gave it the okay. It's curious.

Nobody thought that a civilian plane would get shot down, and other civilian planes had no problems there until this happened.

It's happened before, why wouldn't it happen again? This isn't the first time Russians have shot down a civilian airliner.

A shootdown is not really a reflection on the airline in question.

While this is true, having two aircraft go down in a span of 4 months isn't exactly going to boost sales.

People tend to forgot such things, and it happened in Soviet Union (like Russia changed much lol).

Also, don't forget that officially there are no Russian soldiers there. Only separatists.
