LCPDFR 0.95 RC 1 Police Computer Problem

Featured Replies

Hi I have recently downloaded LCPDFR 0.95 RC1 and installed it on my computer.

I ran the diagnostics tool to see if there were any errors, there weren't any, so I started the game.

But when I try to pull someone over and check his or her name in the computer it does nothing, the window appears and almost instantly dissapears again.

And when I get it to open (don't ask me how I got it to open but one time it did) I can't type anything in or click something, and I can't make it close again and have to restart my game

to get rid of the window that opened :(

can someone help?

Thanks in advance,

TAD18

Change your sensitivity on your mouse in the GTA settings menu, if that doesn't work i'm afraid that a reinstall is the only option.

I had this problem when i first installed LCPDFR, changing the sensitivity on the mouse seemed to work for me and some others who were experiencing the same problems.

Cheers,

Tom

Try resetting the scripts in game, if that don't work, post ur lcpdfr diognostics report.

I Hope this provides enough information,

I'm still having the proble even after reinstall :(

No idea if it's relevant to your problem but I do know the police computer can be very sensative to resolution changes in game. Using the ENB rescaling option to give an AA effect screws with it and changeing res after games starts has same effect.

The problems can be not being able to select anything or close the computer.

Just throwing it in here in case you are using some sort of resolution changing effect.

Also I am no genius when it comes to reading diagnostic reports but are you useing Xlive and Dsound together ?

Edit: nvm I don't think you are, told you I was useless reading Diagnostics :)

Thanks for the help so far, it now works but now I experience crashes so I have to find out where they come from :)

thanks a lot for the help :D

I had similar problems with ENB enabled,

Disabling ENB fixed that error for me, I could not type anything nor get out of the screen to resume my duties,

Hope you guys fix all the problems, This version by far outclasses 0.91 by a mile...
