[REQ] 1980's Chevrolet Suburban

Recommended Posts

So the idea here is to take this 1986 Chevrolet Suburban made for San Andreas, properly convert it and turn it into a brilliant looking cop car or ambulance. Using an aerodynic would be fine I guess.

Few more examples for those who think 1980's Suburbans were barely used (most are GMC but hell, it's the same).

I know but it sucks balls, as well as the other 1980’s Blazers avaliable for IV. Pretty sad if you ask me considering how badass they would look if well done.

Mmmm... A police Blazer would be AWESOME as well.

I agree, I've been hoping for a Bronco for awhile! Blazer or a Bronco would be great.

If there was a good, detailed tutorial in my maiden language on how to convert a car to GTA IV's format, I would. There's no detailed tutorial in English, there's a good one in German but I don't speak that language.

There’s this Bronco for GTA IV but I doubt the authors would be willing to make a police version or give the model to someone else to do it (there’s a version for SA as well, just sayin’. There’s also a 1990 Bronco but if I recall correctly, UC mentioned that its quality wasn’t good enough to convert.

There can be found some video tutorial in YT of approximately an hour long but nobody even talks. I guess you might already seen it. Edited by strike

I'm trying to improve the 1990 model. If I fix it up a bit I'm hoping someone might want to convert it. But I don't think there will be any takers.

Love this quote haha.

Sadly.... I wish there were more unique vehicles around. CVPIs are far too common.

I've been wanting to do a Hummer H1 Alpha for a while now but I'm still waiting for permission from the mod author to modify it. Edit: H1, not H1A, my mistake.

It's been a good 3 months now.

I'm inclined to agree. Broncos are much better looking than Vics in my opinion. Then again, trucks are better than cars in my opinion (if you don't get it, look at my location) Edited by EvilJackCarver

I would love to help, but haven't been able to follow a conversion tutorial (have a couple vehicles I want to convert for myself to gtaIV from DSF but don't know how. And also don't have much modelling talent :(

BUT I would also LOVE to see one of the above stated trucks :D

Somebody should also try making one of those old Smith & Wesson lightbars! Just like this one here.
