ELSv8 Why is this happening?

I think that is how it's supposed to look. They definitely look better with graphical mods though.

I have had a car with elsv7 that all the lights worked. Hmmm. Graphical mod like? an enb?

The car in the video you posted is set up for ELS V8, which means it uses coronas - that's why the lights look different. Definitely throw an ENB in there if you can though as they'll look much better.

But when I'm driving and hit the break or turn the headlights on or reverse lights they work perfectly fine, just like a CVPI should. That's what i don't get.

It's to do with the way the coronas work in ELS V8.

Okay.

Whats the 0's for?

[ CORONAS ]

Headlights = on, 0

Taillights = on, 0

IndicatorsF = on, 0

IndicatorsB = on, 0

Reverselights = on, 0

It just doesn't make sence if the lights work fine driving but when I turn els on I need an enb.

The coronas only light up the bulb not all of the glass like you're used too. An ENB will make the coronas brighter, making it appear as if all the glass is lighting up.

Might have to deal with just the bulbs then. As you could probably tell my gfx aren't the best lol.

Know any ENB's that arent hard on the graphics?

Give this one a try, you should only loose a few frames: ?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>

Yeah that just crashed my game. Had to take all that out. I'll mess around with it tomorrow. Thanks for taking your time.

Edit: Tweaked the visualsettings from that enb. Looks a lot better. Thank you for that suggestion. I'll make this work :D

Your problem is that your coronas are smaller in game. Probably you are using a timecyc mod that reduces the coronas size. Coronas are also known as sprites. Imagine them like a new mesh in front of the car that supports transparency. This is what coronas are:

I reduced my coronas too in game, so they look small like that for me as well. They don't light up the actual headlight / taillight mesh.

I tried using Game4Video's timecyc but it made everything completely black. So now im just using his visualsettings and theyve improved a lot.

The headlights, reverse lights, tail lights, and hazard lights dont light up like they're supposed to.

That dropped my FPS by like 15 frames. Im using the visualsettings from Games4Video's ENB. Seems to do the trick.

Thank you for your input though.
