Major texture loss, need options.

Featured Replies

Hi.

I've been getting MAJOR texture loss recently, the FPS isnt as bothering as the dropping in textures constnatly after playing for 10 minutes.

I have a modified visualsettings and a commandline, but with both they still occur. The visualsettings is to reduce lag, so that could be whats causing it but even without it I still get the problem.

Its not the roads and walls going invisible, its textures being VERY low res until you are right next to them, which takes about 5 seconds to render. same with the streets, sometimes I see cars floating an inch or two above the asphalt.

I'll upload my commandline, tell me if it needs improving or if I'm missing a command, something to fix this (probably) memory problem.

Thanks.

Since you're running a fairly low end computer, I'd recommend removing Traffic Flow. I've experienced texture loss using it before on my old rig.

I'll remove it and see what happens. Allthough after a good 10 minutes i always end up getting the taxi bug, but i'll see if it happens.

Gut all of the mods. Add them in one by one. Chances are its your low end PC with too many car mods.
