Haven't played GTA 4 for a bit, recently reinstalled and got it all running on a new PC, and was curious what most people recommend for a traffic script to avoid the taxi's bug (incase I come across it).
Theres a few out there but not sure which is considered the current best.

People sometimes have problems with traffic flow. I use traffic load. Look it up on google, it is very good.

Can't say that I have ever had a problem with Traffic Flow. I have been meaning to try Traffic Loader for a while as well to see if there actually is a difference.

I think I have used them all.. I could never get traffic load, or traffic flow to work proper.. (On my old system I used to get texture loss after a bit, and it seemed as if they stopped working after like a half hour or so in game..

 

After some short research I have not had ANY problems with chikamru's real traffic.. (I also read somewhere that the file that comes with it (like msvcr.dll or something, is actually what help fixes it)

Occasionally you will look around and see a buttload of taxis and a few other cars (But it happens pretty rarely and clears up quickly)

I recommend traffic control system, combined with Traffic Flow v5. Traffic Control System can be found by looking up Real Taxi Bug Fix. 

Please try to avoid traffic scripts that spawn or delete cars - they're potentially really dangerous.  All it takes is for the wrong car to get deleted and then when another script tries to access it, your game will crash.  Things that spawn traffic are bad as well as it gets spawned in the wrong places and such.

 

Stick to traffic loaders like Traffic Load and Traffic Flow - they simply force the game to load other car models which is a much cleaner solution.  If this doesn't work for you, by all means try other solutions, but if you are having to resort to other dirty methods, you probably shouldn't use car mods anyway.

the difference is traffic load spawns all cars versus traffic flow only spawns 20 traffic load is the best
