I recently found a police car I really liked, but it has a push bar, which I don't want. Is there any way to go into the vehicles texture and just remove the push bar somehow? Thanks!

Do you have a link to the car? Most likely, you can just make a texture transparent and then the pushbar will disappear, but sometimes modders map the pushbars to commonly used textures like "black.png" etc, in which case it isn't possible.

It's usually possible to remove the rambar on a car with a transparent texture like trewq said. But I wouldn't recommend to do that on this car because it has rambar lights. The lights would still light up even without the rambar. 

It's not also so easy, cos some times they don't assign it to a glass material, so it will just be white ingame if you put a transparent texture.

First of all you "remove" the rambar(unless you rip the model from open iv and convert it to GTA again). second of all simply putting a diffuse texture on a wont make the rambar invisible, not even transparent. you need an alpha blended shader for the object to be transparent. to put it quite simply, no you cant remove the rambar. Although there are a few ways to de-emphasize it(if thats even a word)
