Quick computer question

Just wondering but is my acer aspire 7730 a good gaming computer. I upgraded the ram to 4gigs, Thanks

Also I was wondering if this is copatible with it since my baclight inverter is missing. If so what steps do I need to take to instal it?

This is what I plan on ordering.

Thanks!

No, before I got my desktop, I had to play on an Acer of some sort (was a laptop), and with no mods, no ENBs, and on medium/low settings I still got texture loss. GTA IV isn't made for laptops (although some can run it), it was made mostly for desktops. If it's the only source you have to play IV, then go ahead. But if you have a desktop, play it on the desktop.

I didn't build my desktop (I bought it from best buy lol) but it still works very good! It's a Dell XPS 8300 with an i7, 8GB if RAM, an AMD Radeon 6700HD series, and a 27-inch 1920x1080 monitor. If I had to recommend a gaming computer that you don't build, I'd go with some sort of Dell.

DELL = hell....I'm going to be getting a crapton of computers tomorrow though. Hopefully one of them will be able to possibly run gta iv....

Why do you say that?

I owned a Dell Inspiron 1525 it was maybe 2 or 3 years old lightly used but it was slow as hell. It did not play youtube videos nor load anything, let alone a simple facebook page. It was pure crap. Now I have a Dell dimension 2400 and that is just as bad as the inspiron. Thier customer support is the worse I have ever seen. I will happily pass on buying anything from Dell.

I 2nd that.

Everything was poor about it. The battery was poor, the day I got it. It had slow internet, poor settings and battery lasted only about an hour.

I use a HP now.

I'm a scrapper  and get my computers from a pc shop. I guess we will see how things go after my haul...

That it won't. You need to buy gaming parts, not buy some pre-assembled office machine that is made for browsing and word processing from the last century.

Sadly I don't have the money for a computer. So I will have  to work with what I get.
