So you don't eat or drink at all when playing video games? And a whole lot of people who do not play this game+mod to pretend and RP they are a police officer, but more to have fun just like any other game.

 

Personally, I drink either Diet Coke, Gatorade, or Sprite while playing any game.

 

No never eat sometimes I drink but its rarely. Sorry don't like food and stuff in my keyboard lol. But what I am saying is some people take this "simulator" way to serious and think that is what actual police work is like. From my years at this community that is what I have seen, there are few that know what actual police work is like, but some think its all about arresting and chasing. 

 

Here is what it breaks down to:

 

% of police work

 

65% of Police work is responding to calls of service and traffic stops

 

30% of police work is report writing and policy reading

 

4% is going to actual calls that result in a arrest such as burglary, vehicle theft, stuff like that

 

1% is serious offenses such as shootings, murders, armed robbery's, vehicle chases.

 

Obviously this various from department, to department like if you do some Town way up north compared to LA, LA will be a little different.  But most of us will work in a moderate department where this is the deal.

I for one do drink when playing video games, but not to roleplay, lol. Usually either some water, a soda or coffee.

If I'm feeling like a high roller, I'll indulge in some Cherry Coke, or Dr. Pepper.

I drink out of my NASA issued urine bag.  This way i never have to leave my computer.

Apparently I'm one of the few that drinks nothing at all when playing games, LCPDFR included.  I avoid sodas and energy drinks whenever possible, I don't think I've ever had an energy drink in my life, and I haven't had any soda besides ginger ale for years.  

 

I suppose in the summer I might have an occasional glass of water while playing but that's about it.  I take breaks from playing whenever I want to drink something.

You play as a law enforcer (anything from beat cop to N.O.o.S.E.), and not necessarily patrolling. :P

 

I think for once I agree with tz71, people take this game way too far..

Been reading all the comments about people saying that other people are taking LCPDFR too far.

 

You're saying that my life size model police car in my bedroom that I sit in when I play, my coffee shop in my kitchen, my toughbook police laptop next to me on a desk, and my pretend uniform I wear each time I play, that's taking it too far? 

 

Kidding, I don't do any of that. 

 

If I drink while playing, it's water or orange juice. I rarely drink and play though. But, there is nothing wrong with role-playing to the max! It's fun for some people.

This is gonna sound weird, but when I'm doing LCPDFR videos, I drink Pepsi just to amp up my energy so at least don't fall asleep.
