  • I'm sure if he was trying to up his post count he wouldn't have 37 in a year..     I personally don't like steady burns, & really don't see why they are so important.

Is there a point in creating a thread, other than to boost your post count?

Also, that Explorer needs a crap ton of work done to it before it's released. I'd recommend making it a 2013 PI. At the moment it's not close. Use pictures from the internet and see how they differ from the model you have and improve it based on the pictures.

I actually kind of like it. Anyways, Cali has a state law which requiers all emergency vehicles to have at least 1 (one) red steady burn facing the front of the vehicle. I guess it's a old law, however nothing they can do about it.

California Vehicle Code Section 25252 states that: "Every authorized emergency vehicle shall be equipped with at least one steady burning red warning lamp visible from at least 1,000 feet to the front of the vehicle."

Edit: I added "It" to the sentence, haha... "I actually kind of like it"

Not quite. Still a bit of work that needs to be done. Why do you have Dodge Charger rims on a Ford? Also, half of your turn signal is missing.

Again, still a lot of work that needs to be done to improve the overall quality of the model, but you're getting there!

Remap the grille texture to black.

The turn signal is not missing ingame and the rims are temporary.

Yes I'm planning on doing that once I buy Photoshop.

Lol, all you have to do is find the file that the grille uses for the texture (should be a little silver/chrome looking box) and make it black.

Ik that but how am I suppose to make it black?

^ It's not that easy, you have to "remap" it, cos that is chrome & making the texture gray won't rly solve the issue, it's meant to be plastic.

Yeah, forgot. I did this ages ago to my Explorer model. Make the (chrome) in the texture editor (mesh).

Still has some work to go, but I can see it turning out pretty nice

Feel free to PM me if you need a hand with anything

I'm planning on doing a LAPD Explorer.....eventually
