First Person mod?

Recommended Posts

Yea, I use that 1st person mod on EFLC with no issue.

Just drop files into root folder (per Ekalb). You have to tap 'V' in quick succession to enable it while on foot.  While in the car, just run through the views until you get to the 1st person.

Great mod, hope you get it working.  Really gives the game a new "feel" to it.

Make sure your ScriptHook is updated to the latest version.

Also, while you're at it download the updated version, 1.3 (linked above my post, in Argha's post).

Other than that, the mod should work fine.

If it still doesn't work, maybe a clean IV install *might* help.

If my post made you laugh (or giggle) in any way, smash that blue grey "Like this" button & like it

I use this mod on GTA IV 1.0.7.0 all the time with no problems at all.

I do not have dsound.dll and only use xlive.dll. From my experience and from what I have read, you should either choose xlive.dll or dsound.dll, not both.

Make sure that you have FirstPerson.asi and FirstPerson.ini in your root directory.

As Rocking_Star101 also mentioned, make sure you have the latest ScriptHook installed.

Thanks it works!

Good deal.  Love that mod.

You can adjust the x, y and z axis for the cam as well.  For the new GTAV peds I had to move the cam forward about 3-inches so I don't see the jaw bone.  You can also expand and narrow down the field-of-view as well.
