It is really sad to see a thing like this happen, especially since there are young kids involved. They having to see the blood from their friends, and even bodies. Makes me sick. 

 

Banning knives won't help the situation. The situation has already happened. It probably won't help future sitations either. Stricter laws aren't the way to go, more information to the kids, and taking care of the kids before something like this happens is the way to do it.

Some kids are already broken, people who do this usually want attention or revenge or they enjoy seeing it, they must have schizophrenia or another mental illness, it's sick.

 

Yeah, and if that is the case, something should have been done before this even could happen. Prevention. 

These stabbings/shootings are probably due to psychotropic drugs that these kids are taking...Zoloft and the like.  I would bet $1 to a doughnut that this is the causal link between all these lunatic kids going nuts on classmates.  

 

These ads even disclose side-effects, say something like "may cause depression, suicidal thoughts, and death..."  something to that effect.  

 

You never heard of these things happening when I was growing up in the 70s and 80s, and back then kids were not taking these dangerous drugs, and killiing their classmates, that absolutely alter the personalities of people.  

 

Funny how these two things seem to go hand-in-hand.  Anecdotal?  Maybe but I do not think so.

As I read up and listen to the news, the kid was a B+ student, well liked, and never drank or took drugs. He was almost never bullied. He just ran through the halls and various classrooms slashing and stabbing people with an expressionless face. Very scary to think.

This happened around 7:20 this morning. This school is only a few miles from my high school. Scary to think someone did that.

 

 

Luckily nobody was killed, only a few serious injuries. I hope all goes well for those who were injured.

Sadly , since around 1995 alot of peoples go Bulletin board system (BBS) to internet ,  and Facebook twitter etc growing the intimidation problems we always had with kids... alot of kids on many countries have intimidation and now kids can also do personnal attacks with cellphones. they have access to camera,sms,internets all the time. alot fo kids suicides and some use weapons and fight. its very easy take a bad moment of someone in camera without his-her autorization and share with the planet to laugh at him-her...

 

In canada, Police take it as a serious problem...they track ip and do an intervention in some case...  try to do alot of prevention... before a drama come.  and peoples guess why gorvernment spy on civil lol.

 

While all this happen Musulman fight culture rights so the kids have hijab and Ceremonial knive at schools.

He could have put it in his bag or in his back pocket, not all schools have metal detectors, kids bring all sorts of crazy shit to school. If they can sneak a phone in, don't you think that they can sneak in a weapon?

Schools were never safe nor will they ever be safe. if someone really wants to do something they will find a way. you can't prevent everything, even if you'd tried you would infringe on many constitutional rights.

Kids can still take tools out of a metal shop or wood shop class room and stab others. They can take pencils and do it. There is just no way to make schools 100% safe. Metal detectors can get everything, and even then, there will be ways.

People try to think of "new" and "better" ways to improve safety, but they forget that people are unpredictable and you never know if something is gonna happen or where.
