Real life police work...dangerous job.

Maybe some of you may have already seen this video, but I just wanted to show the things that happen everyday around the world besides what we see when we're playing LCPDFR. Imagine not playing a GTA police simulator and you being those officers...how would you react?

This is not a fair representation of the job of a police officer.

Situations like the one in the video are rare and I'm not sure whats up with this - without being officer myself, I imagine most would drive with partners, two in a car or more.

I'm not saying that being in the law enforcement career is the safest of jobs, but most guaranteed not a fair representation. Most police 'documentaries' wrong choice of words, but likely what they'll be categorized as are not every-day scenarios.

This is all based on the fist clip and the title of the thread.

Where I'm from it is extremely rare to see cops riding in pairs even in major cities.

Yes,almost all documentaries these days like to make things worse than they are, etc etc.

But this documentary is about how dangerous this job is,not the things that happen everyday. Anyway you had a point there.

Working at a pharmacy is also a dangerous job, as the next shocking footage shows.

Nope, by and large police officers ride alone unless it's in a notoriously dangerous city where officers often get jumped or overwhelmed. Las Vegas, Boston, New York, Miami and Los Angeles are great examples where two people per car is average. But other places that should have massive coverage have very little. Troopers in Alaska ride alone, and they're spread extremely thin so not only is backup not with you at the drop of a hat, backup could be in another county. Our government simply won't pay for more law enforcement, and quite frankly I think they should. We need it in several states.

All that being said, the risk of being shot or beat up in the line of duty is rare in the U.S. as a whole, but certain areas (like some of the cities mentioned above) or certain task forces (like gang or narcotics) have their risk of hard contacts increased massively.

Do my job everyday, I came the closest I've ever come to being hit the other day trying to load a vehicle, i had to jump on the deck, cars whizzing by me an inch away from my ass, been hit by mirrors been told I'm a vulture, a crook & to go fuck myself on several occasions..  cops can at least do something about careless driving, I cannot, if I say something I can get fired, which is retarded, people know what those red/blue lights mean, no one gives 2 fucks about tow operators, no one cares about my safety until it's them that needs help, being a cop isn't the hardest job in the world yet people post video's of the worst side of a cop's career (which they are paid well to do).. no one posts stuff about a cop being involved in the communities, why? because it's not as "cool" as a cop being shot at..

Did I also mention it's been statically proven the Tow Operators are killed every year more then Police, Fire & EMS combined? wish people would stop & think BEFORE they post.
