Can you add non-police vehicles to LCPD:FR?

Featured Replies

Hello peeps,

I have a question. Is it possible to add vehicles to LCPD:FR? e.g. "zombieb" can stop cars etc. I modded that car to be a police motorbike, although I cannot stop cars with it.

Thanks.

As far as I'm still aware there is no way of 'adding' vehicles to the game at all, let alone by a mod, only replacing the pre-existing ones.  The overall assets for # of vehicles is all hardcoded and by name in the game engine itself.

So basically you'd have to replace one of the pre-existing police models (not a regular car model) for it to hook into the actual police stuff.

If you don't have EFLC, you can add cars to police3, police4 and police slots. You would have to configure them though. There was a tutorial here or on GPM about it somewhere.

Also, you can add cars to be recognized by LCPDFR as police cars to LCPDFR.ini. Check LCPDFR user guide for more info.
