Hey guys. I'm giving a shot at zmodeler for the first time in my life (wish me luck    ) and I have been noticing that every vehicle model that happens to have a valor lightbar has a "Locked" model status. Why is that? By any chance would anyone happen to know where I can download maybe just the valor lightbar itself? Or where I can download a vehicle model with a valor lightbar that's not locked?

Maybe it's because they don't want people to steal or edit their work that they worked their ass off making. Or it's a private model. I have looked around and as far as I know, no Valor has been released unlocked. Good luck in modeling

As far as the Valor goes, no Federal Signal Valor's have been released & I honestly doubt they're will be. More or less because they don't want their work stolen

 

But I'm in the same boat as you, I'm really hoping for one 

 

(I'm new to zmodeler myself,    only program that's ever kicked my ass before LOL)

That's where you're wrong! EVI released an unmapped valor on GMC before it was shut down, a few of us got it the rest didn't.

If someone is given a copy of the locked Valor by whoever made it, common courtesy dictates not releasing the model unlocked. You can only really do an unlocked release if all the parts you're using are either made by you, or you have permission to release them unlocked.

Yeah.. Fair enough I guess. I'm trying to mimic my local police vehicles and getting cars with the right lighting and lightbars is really hard. I wish it were easier.... I can never seem to get it just right.
