I have a great idea! Let them finish the cops first then we can ask for something else.

While I'm not one that's big towards the military and how they appeared in the GTA V series, I would ask for the flight suit peds that were in the game. I think those were really nice and would suit a helicopter pilot very well in a transfer. NOOSE pilots don't need all that tactical gear when flying a helicopter in my opinion.

But, otherwise, that's great to hear!

Please do the military as well because sometimes...it would be fun to have the ability to have martial law in liberty city and the noose peds with camo retexture don't look that great.

Besides the military pilots, there are also LSPD helicopter pilots wearing light green jumpsuits, like their real life counterpart in the LAPD's air support division. It's amazing at the detain that went into the ped models themselves. I'm just disappointed at the lack of them utilizing these models with more police activity across the city.

All in all, I agree. A pilot model would be great to have in GTA IV, so long as Evan has the model available to convert. In the end, it's up to him to make it.

Very good that you are converting the peds over, and it looks like you've made some great progress from the picture.  I will say, though, that I don't think your priority should be to try to fully convert ALL of the peds to GTA IV as that will be a colossal task when you factor in the different meshes and variations, as well as the countless bugs that will crop up and need to be fixed.  It could be a month before you actually get a couple of peds that work without any glitches or rigging problems.  My suggestion to you would be to work on some of the stuff yourself and just release the other meshes as they are - this will let other people contribute towards converting them and would be great for the community as a whole.

I did not know that. Thanks for the information!

You know that sounds like a great idea, That's what i'll do. I've finished two peds already. I do one more and release the rest.

i'm probably doing a male and female from two departments, police and sheriff,

If i get enough requests, then i will continue to do all peds, two are currently complete and will take in game pics

I am referring to a Rhode Island state police uniform, and as you can see above J.J Designs was asking for one. I sent him the one i made already that is pretty close to what he wanted. He said he wants one with knee boots and more accurate color, so i told him its better than not having the uniform you want at all which is possible!

Ah, right. True, true. You can always update your mod though.

nice, what two have you done so far?

I'm looking forward to this. Hopefully the texture 'templates' shouldn't be too different to IV cops for easier retexturing.

Are there any major differences apart from the heads between the police and sheriff cop models? Theoretically you could just transfer (and edit the arm/sleeve portions) the relevant textures (e.g. uppr and lowr diff) and create all four at once using each model as a 'base'. I hope that makes sense.

Cheers.

Good news.  Really looking forward to start working with these myself.

I thought so too but the male and female aren't shaped the same and the upper have they're own specific texture, Now it i was to do all male cops then yes it will work, as same for all male sheriff's. But basically cop can't be mixed with sheriff.

Could you make all Law Enforcement Peds? The FIB SWAT, FIB Agents, and the Tactical Cops would be great!

Are you also converting their apparels like glasses/shades, hat, and the SWAT helmet?
