Help making police skins? *NVM, I canceled the idea.*

Featured Replies

Is this the right section? I think it is.
I am trying to make Saanich PD skins for the normal size and fat cops. For normal/traffic I use RCMP, Trooper/fat are default.
I want to re-texture the default model, but better yet re-texture a model that is closer to the real thing, in terms of jacket, uniforms, pants etc... I want the default utility belt. I don't need one with extra equipment like a tazer.
I could only find a few good pics to use as a reference.

Note: this is not Saanich PD but the yellow jacket is almost the same to Saanich PD. I think everything but the shoulder badge is the same.

I'm confused. Do you need tips on how to do it yourself or are you asking for someone to make them for you?

I would like to try it myself, but I am a not good at detailed and complex textures.

Nobody has to make them for me, unless they are willing to.

The way I would do it is by using the Hue/Saturation tool in Photoshop to modify the colour of the uniforms, and then insert the badges over the top. To summarize, pick the player model you want and use the Hue/Saturation tool to modify the colour of the original uniform.

How does that work?

I have experimented with that function, but it was for something else, non GTA. I am not too familiar with it...

That tool modifies the colour, click the colorize option.
