GTA IV Textures disappearing NO CAR MODS

Featured Replies

I've had some problems with texture loss. I didn't have any Car Mods installed. Here is what I installed:

LCPDFR

GTAPolicingTools

Police Helper

METT/Coroner Mod(With Van Mod installed but uninstalled later. No improvements)

My GTA IV Graphics and Settings are all default and I did not edit them at all. Below are my PC Specs

I've encountered Texture Loss before but sometimes it was minor and sometimes it wouldn't come back. I tried commandline.txt and it worked but decreased my graphics.

Are my Specs terrible and need upgraded? Any other fixes I could try?

I think this might help, wouldn't hurt to try.

1. Go to your gtaiv directory and create a text document named "commandline"

2. Add the following into the text document:

-novblank

-norestrictions
-percentvidmem 100
-novsync
-frameLimit 0
-nomemrestrict

Hope it fixes the issue! The issue might also be the amount of RAM. Not sure.

Yup. You meet the minimum requirements to run Windows 7, that's it.

Not sure if it matters or not but I'm able to run both GTA IV and GTA IV Liberty City Stories.

There's no such thing as GTA IV Liberty City Stories. Do you mean Episodes From Liberty City? And just because Windows lets you install a program doesn't mean it's going to work or run well.

Yeah Episodes from Liberty City. Brain Fart :wallbash:

Both GTA IVs run perfect. Texture Loss is my only problem

I tried your commandline and it doesn't work.

The only time I lose texture is when I enable LCPDFR. I use the Automatic Install version if this helps.
