I'm not sure if it's possible with the game's system of selecting peds, but I was thinking it would be cool that if you were to check the ID of certain peds, e.g the security guard, it would come up when checking his id on the radio/computer

For normal peds you wouldn't see it, but for peds like security guards, who may be licensed to hold a weapon, as he uses it to guard property, it would tell you he is a legitimate security guard, so you know he is allowed to carry a weapon if he has one on him. It wouldn't show this info on any normal ped, just peds who have particular jobs according to their skin/special spawn location.

Again, not entirely sure if possible, but I think it would be cool.

UPDATE: I just found out that if you pull over a securicar, a gruppe 6 driver will be inside, if you check his ID, it will come up on the computer saying "LCPD Officer database currently offline", so this could possibly be applied to the normal security guard too.

Yeah, this would be a good idea too, some people want to rob and mug others, some just want to prevent that happening

Hmm, considering Liberty City officially bans all guns, off-duty possession would probably be a violation.

As far as I'm aware, guards are allowed guns, and police officers (duh), discovering an FBI/FIB agent could be a thing too, but I think the Security guard showing up on the Computer makes more sense.

The Securicar texture specifically says that Gruppe Sechs is authorized to use lethal force by the LCPD.
