This topic is just about me wanting to get people's opinions why you do not like ELS or why you do like ELS. If you do or not like ELS please explain to me why. I want to get as many opinions as I can so I can figure out if I should use ELS or not.

I have, but I want other peoples opinions also.

I like els because its adds more realism to the game even though there's the door bug and it makes your cars indestructible. I enjoy the light patterns compared to gta's and I only use non els for cars I dont drive and if I want my game to be more stable.

 

Both have their pros and cons, so I think they're pretty much equal. 

I don't like ELS 7 because of the lighting patterns. They don't really stay the same pattern for long or it is a really simple pattern . My favorite for ELS 6 is A-07 and X-03. I also don't like how you have to press the J button 3 times to get all the lights to come on, the new ELS 7.1 say's they will fix that so you can jump straight to all the lights with one button.

Go to the ini and scroll down to misc and look for sound fx and replace on with off

So you can't turn off the beep?

OP, why don't you just try it out and see if you like it? Its not like its some massive mod to install or uninstall. It takes a matter of 1-2 minutes to install. I love ELS and have always and will always use it. I can't stand the default cars or their halogen rotator lightbars. Plus v7 gives modelers much more freedom with the light patterns and I love that because your able to go above and beyond than what you could do with v6. So I would say without hesitation to go with ELS and use it. Plus 98% of the cars that get released are ELS enabled cars, so if you want to use them your going to need ELS anyway

I think it flashes the headlights and taillights like in els but for non els cars
