Ped Criminal Histroy

Featured Replies

Greetings,

I have a question that I have been curious about so here it is. When we pull someone over and run their name in the computer and it comes back that they have been pulled over 3 times and issued 1 citation or that they have a warrant, etc. etc. Is this all random in the script or does the mod keep track of who you pull over and arrest or give citations to. Just curious. Thanks.

Hi, this is completely random and crime history isn't saved. It has been discussed before if it would be possible, but it (if I remember correctly) would be too much work.

Invenio, Investigatio, Imperium

Not entirely true.  All ped data is randomly generated at first, and then while a ped is in memory, their data is saved to them.  If you pulled over the same ped twice, you would actually notice that their times pulled over statistic had increased.  All ped data is lost, though, when the ped is discarded from memory (so even although a hotdog seller standing in Star Junction all day might be the same person from your perspective, it'll be a different one as far as the game is concerned as he will be spawned and despawned as you get closer and further away).

"You tell me exactly what you want, and I will very carefully explain to you why it cannot be."

If you pulled over the same ped twice, you would actually notice that their times pulled over statistic had increased.

Never even noticed that, that is really cool.
