Can't attack with melee?

Featured Replies

When I get into the game, I'm able to fire a weapon or sound my siren or horn in any vehicle, but I am not able to do any melee attacks. Whether it be with a bat, knife, or fists, I can't attack. I click to punch, and Niko just stands there and does nothing, but when I pull a gun, I'm able to play normally. Please help.

What version of GTA IV do you have and is it a legitimate copy of the game?

What mods are you running / what changes have you made to your game?

I am running patch 1.0.7.0, it is a legal copy. I have Deadly Wrecks, Fuel Script, LessOvertake, TrafficFlow, Tow Service, LCPDFR, and modded weapons, weapon sounds, non-ELS vehicles, and modded Peds.

Right in that case what I would recommend doing is removing all of your mods and try to see if it works then, if it does then you can go ahead and slowly install each mod again one at a time.

If it doesn't fix it come back and say so and I will have another think as to what it might be.
