They are playing online on RP servers.

Like the person above me said, they might be playing on a Online RP server, or they have joined an online server once, and got the addons from the mod, then they just started up a private server and spawned the cars

I was looking into buying ARMAIII, but seems like there is no campaign in SP and it's mostly geared toward Online play.  Have had my fill of griefers with GTAV and RDR.  Not too enthused about online gameplay.

I don't get why people play on arma 2 life/Island life. All there addons and scripts are stolen and they claim them as there own. They then try to sue people they stole the addons from and claim its theirs...

I don't play on Island Life, I hate majority of the roleplay servers. The people are just bunch of 10-96's. We just ripped them off "their" mods and put them in our own use for private group of friends.
