Best Graphics card

Featured Replies

Hi LCPDFR,

I am building a computer and i was wondering if anybody can recommened some good strong Graphic card (price is not a problem).

I'd like it to be strong enough to handle maximum settings and be able to run high-polygon models.

Thanks,

I'm leaning towards intel because i'm more familiar with them (i don't mind AMD suggestions), any price (don't know how many dollars, only know the price in SEK)

I'm not really too familar with Intel only AMD, but I did some research on it. If you want the best and if price isn't an issue then go with the GTX 780 TI. It is about $700 USD, and about 4,587.10 SEK.

I got a GTX 660 I run at 56 frames with high poly cars and ENBs. If price isn't a big deal I'd go with a GTX 660 TI.

I'm not sure what this talk about Intel is. Nvidia makes GPUs, not Intel. Intel Makes CPUs. If you want the best on the NVidia lineup it would either be the Nvidia Titan or GTX 690. Their newest 700 series lineup is pretty good. Right now I am using a GTX 770 and it runs GTA fairly well with an ENB and several other graphic mods.

im running a dell precision 690 server with a Quadro FX 3450/4000 SDI 256mb with 4 gig .. with a max of 32 gigs for which I will be adding in the coming weeks.. my opinion of a good gaming setup already made and not that costly... roughly 450 to start with basics with a lot of room for upgrades the way you want it.. $3200 fully maxed and setup though  that prices range from..

I recently bought the GTX 660 and it is the best thing ever! Get about 55 FPS with high poly cars and an ENB

Don't think my eyes could handle the 70 FPS flashing lightbars :nuke:

I have a Nvidia GTX 650 Ti, it runs GTA IV on the best settings really well. Not sure how it will handle GTA V if it ever does come to the PC, but I think it will do reasonably well. :)

Do you mean the 6GB titan with 2688 cores? :p

Yes, yes he does.

What's your PSU wattage? I know you said you can run any card no problem but some people can't. :P

If you have infinite power and a reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalllllllllllllllllly high budget, you should aim for either the GTX 690, Titan, or 780 Ti. Those cards are the bosses of all cards, and will be able to run anything on high settings for like a lot of years. :D

What's your CPU aswell?

I, personally, think this is the best card on the market: EVGA's GTX 780 Ti Classified King Ping Edition for $849.99. The only thing Titan has that is better than that is it's 6GB of VRAM. The 780 Ti only has 3GB, but everything about it is faster than the Titan. You could also just get one of the cheaper 780 Ti's, all of them will perform nicely.
