okay, so this might be a stupid question... but does anyone know if gta iv would have the ability to run java scripts? and if you think it could, how would I get it to work in the game if its even possible that is.

I don't think that is possible no, but I am not sure. lua and .net scripts works fine though, and c/c#/c++ has a similar syntax to java. 

Not possible unless you write your own Java scripthook or abstraction layer.

You can use C#, which is pretty close to Java though.
