Unable to launch lcpdfr 1.0

Hi, I hope no one else has posted the same post, but I cannot find one similar to this issue I am having.

I have installed a fresh copy of both EFLC & GTA IV and installed the correct patch.

I have installed the new version of lcpdfr 1.0.

Whenever starting lcpdfr and attempting to launch lcpdfr nothing appears.

I hope I have not done something stupid, but I have retried this a few times and followed some of the tips that have been posted.

I can completely understand of the G17 team as people are posting without following the tips, I have and usually do not like posting without double checking, and I cannot find anything that I have done incorrect.

I would be grateful if someone could give me some suggestions or willing to use remote assistance.

(Also I have not installed any other scripts or modifications)

Callum

Legal copy of the game? Running the game as administrator? Latest patch? What other mods are you using? What operating system are you using? Make sure that LCPDFR 0.95 is removed.

Also, please install these

Thanks for the help though!

Your ScriptHookDotNet does not load. This is not an LCPDFR issue. Check this thread out: http://gtaforums.com/topic/392325-beta-gtaiv-net-scripthook/

Solution might be to install this:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=a7b7a05e-6de6-4d3a-a423-37bf0912db84

Please do not PM me unless really necessary (knowing you helps). If you think you need my attention in a topic, tag me.

:wallbash:  :wallbash:  So frustrating! Although I am sure it is even more for the developers!

Say when attempting to install " http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=a7b7a05e-6de6-4d3a-a423-37bf0912db84 " that:

" Please resolve the following:

A newer version of Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable has been detected on the machine. "

What should I do? Cheers

I'm not sure, the point is, SHDN is not loaded because this is missing, so I'd recommend removing any 2010 redists before (NOT 2012) and install the one I gave you.

Nothing working. It seems a few other people have been starting new similar threads with the same issue.

Thank you for your help though!

You can run Dependency Walker on ScriptHookDotNet.asi and save the results and attach them here.

Thanks LMS, I just got it working, soulotion was to uninstall any redist before 2010, through control panel. Program files/ features. Then uninstalled lcpdfr 1.0 with auto installer, Then installed Lcpdfr 1.0 again. Make sure you have 2010 redist and 2012 redist installed, no other redist, so it will load properly. Try it it will work.

Unable to upload the file, says I am not permitted to upload this kind of file. May be I am just not saving the file correctly, never used dependency walker before.

I really am confused... not sure... hope there is some sort of solution!

You appear to be missing the latest DirectX runtimes. Please download and install the following: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35

Tried this and now I went from being able to at least start GTA4 to now reading SecuLaunch failed to launch application [2000].

SecuRom might require the 2008 redistributable.  Install that and see what happens.

SecuRom requires the 2005 redist. To successfully run 1.0 all you need is:

Microsoft Visual Studio C++ 2005 Redistributable

http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=3387

Microsoft Visual Studio C++ 2012 Redistributable (x86) - 11.0.61030

http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679

DirectX 9.0

Try running your game in compatibility mode for windows 7 and as an administrator, It needs to be on the GTAIV.exe and the LaunchGTAIV.exe.
