Love the mod. It would be nice to be able to change the keybinds for vehicle mirroring, follow me, ect on traffic stops. (for what ever reason the Q key as well as the keybind I picked on my ELS settings change my light stage) and I'd like to use the vehicle mirroring without my emergency lights turning off.

Ok. I believe I'll be able to figure out the textures part without any problem. I'm not exactly sure how to do the carcols.meta files (Well at least not without breaking my game). Thanks for the help.

So lately I've been using Captain14's ELS style vehicles (linked below). I really like the cars in these packs but I'd like to change the lights to all blue to better mimic the lighting colors of the police departments in my area. Is there anyone here who would be willing to explain (or make a video tutorial) how to change the light colors? Or if someone has already converted these vehicles to ones with all blue lights can you send me a link? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Every little bit helps. I was an explorer for a 1.5 years. I'm not a cop yet but I know departments like to hire their explorers/cadets. If you area has reserve officers it might be something to look into until you can get picked up for a full time paid position. If you're open to this suggestion though you could always try a reserve or national guard component of the military which generally offers a great advantage over other applicants.

Regular backup units are always in police or police2 (at least that's all I've ever seen) the only way they'll respond in something different is if you ask for a noose unit or air support.

As I've been patrolling both in single player and multiplayer with lcpdfr 1.0a I've noticed that I'm unable to do trafficstops or transport suspects in police3, police4, and policeb. Traffics stops never even acknowledge and if I try to transport a subject I arrested, it tells me that those vehicles are not police vehicles. This wasn't a problem with .95. So what i was wondering is who else is having this issue and is there a way to fix it to where the above menitioned vehicles will be able to run traffic stops and transport prisoners?

Ok so got the mod to start working. It crashed the first time after selecting my car. haven't given it a second go yet though. hopefully I won't run into anymore issues.

ok so I was able to identify on of my issues and correct it. However, now my game crashes before the game actually finishes loading. I now have some log files. They're attached below.

So I after initially installing the mod the game didn't work. I decided the easiest thing to do was to start with a stock version of the game. Up to this point the only mod that I have installed on my GTA4 is the lcpdfr 1.0. I've checked other threads of people having similar issues and just haven't been able to find the solution to the problem. I've tried the automatic installer several times without any luck what so ever. My latest attempt was to manually install the game on a stock version of the game and still haven't had any luck. I can't seem to find any of the ".log" files that should be included. Thanks in advance for any help that you can provide.

Tried this and now I went from being able to at least start GTA4 to now reading SecuLaunch failed to launch application [2000].

When I downloaded the lcpd:fr 0.95 instead of showing up as it should to be able to install the mod it appeared as a black icon because it doesn't recognize what application it needs to be associated with. Anyone have any idea how to fix this?

No. I was supposed to go to Hawk this year but I lost my job and couldn't pay to go. I kind of forgot to let them know so i'm red lined from NCSA's for the next few years. Which to be honest is fine by me. What wing are you in?

Definitely do Air Force. You can't be a police officer until 21 anyways. Air Force will fill the gap between graduation and when you turn 21 and will make you much more marketable as a police officer once you start applying for LEO positions. TN Air National Guard... Plan on becoming a police officer soon.
