So here is the story. It has been below 10 degrees F all day long and i got back to my house a few hours ago and there was nothing wrong. at 12:50 there is someone knocking on the back door so my mom opened the door and its a cop. So i jump out of my chair to see whats up. We come to find out that somehow the hose in our backyard was turned on and it flooded the entire street so we tell him when we got home a few ours ago there was nothing flooded. So he says that my neighbors called it in and their basement can flood very easily. So we tell him we had no clue that it was on and he also said he will make sure that the water company won't charge us for this. So now we have to wait and see if it flooded the neighbors basement and if it did we have to pay a lot of money to them which we can't because of christmas. I hope you enjoyed this story which all this happened about 5 min ago.

The one thing that surprises me is that if someone knows that their basement floods easily, the should not lack tools and equipment needed to drain the basement like a sump pump.

hopefully we don't it is the holiday season. All he does is sit in his garage all day blaring music while watching football or messing with his bike. I don't think he has the time to do that.

I don't know what the "normal" house is where you are but over here we all have a sloped driveway, so how exactly did you flood his garage? Does he not close it or something? Anyways hopefully you don't have to pay!

not his garage we don't know if we flooded his basement and if we did it will be bad and i didn't flood anything someone turned the water on and with the grass having ice on it the water was able to flood the whole road. i will find out who did it and im praying that we don't have to pay

Thats what i did but somebody turned it on
