This is what I've gathered from the scanner

 

-Two injured (no idea on injuries)

-Suspect APPEARS to be in custody

-All students evcuated

-Bomb squad looking for devices after devices found on suspect

EDIT: Suspect entered school with a shotgun, seeking out an individual teacher. A student encountered the suspect and was shot -In serious condition

Yes, it's in the same area of Denver. I have yet to hear anything about a second shooting in CO

It's sad, all the schoolshootings in the states. Obama is going to have a hard time to make the republicans make better laws.

Is it still active? I am listening to a scanner and sounds like they are still evacuating the school.

Thats TERRIBLE. That makes how many shootings this year? Its like 4 so far...?
Why is it always happening in the US?

You mean, like, the strict laws that already exist in Colorado on guns, the strict laws nationwide against having a gun in a school, and most of all, the strict laws against shooting people?

Yeah, just sign a bill into law and 300 million guns will disappear into thin air.

 

Or, maybe, we put aside political bias and realize that almost all mass shootings end once a good guy with a gun shows up. And then, instead of relying on a police response time that tends to be 4-5 minutes (more than enough time to inflict carnage) for urban areas, let alone rural areas that can have response times that are between 10 minutes to an hour, we actually allow teachers to train for active shooter situations and we allow willing teachers to carry concealed weapons so that they can adequately protect the people they are required to watch over for 7 hours a day.

Gun control doesn't even help, there is no point of taking away weapons from law biding citizens! I understand that there are some nuts in this world, but that doesn't mean it should affect us normal people. That's just my take on this
