Isn't it open beta now? I played way earlier in the year during April for the closed beta. You're going to be sorely disappointed if you're expecting this to be anything like Elder Scrolls in any way except the lore, and the skill quick-select menu. First person fighting wasn't even working back when I first tested it. It's a good game, but no better than Age of Conan, or Warhammer, or RIFT, or Aion, etc. It's closest to Age of Conan out of anything I listed, I would say.

I got into the closed SIMCITY beta, but never downloaded it. I really dont like the whole burrden of playing a game to find bugs, and report them. I play a game for the fun and enjoyment of it, anyway have try to have fun

You get to play games ahead of their intended release date, you get to learn a bit about how programming works and you get bragging rights. What's not to love?
