To the devs;

I'm one of the few unlucky ones that has been plagued with the arrest function not working on 0.95.. Example;

*Pull over vehicle*

*Run his license, turns out he has a warrant*

*Ask him to step out*

*He steps out, walks to the pavement and stands still*

*I aim at him, with a baton or a gun and spam E.. No "You can arrest the person your aiming at by pressing E" pops up*

*He just walks off*

So, my question is;

Would I be allowed to try and sort the problem myself? I can only guess its something wrong with the coding which I'd like to take a look at

I'm asking this because Jay never got back to me about being a Beta Tester.

If I fixed my problem, I wouldn't distribute it. I'd keep the fixed file to myself.

If not, I'll wait for the next public release.

I don't think it's necessary. The beta is currently working fine. You are probably using the beta public which hasn't been updated since it's release. The devs and testers are using a different system now which can give us fixes pretty quickly. So you can try to fix the problem in the code (I'm not giving permission BTW) but it probably has been fixed already. It just isn't being released to the public and if everything goes fine, it won't happen till the finish of 0.95.

I am encountering the same issue and can confirm it has not been fixed yet. Very strange.

You know ive been sitting here over 2 months , holding my tounge not asking about release dates,not asking anything about 9.5, so im hoping to ask this without getting hostility from uptight people who take this way to seriously, Im just wondering as a faithful fan, would it be possible to get an update as to where you guys stand on 9.5 nobody has said anything and yes ive read your sticky notes more times then I wanted to, so how about throwing us a bone so we have an idea how long we have to wait. you know most people give, a release date and dont get mad when there fans ask about there product , so how about a smart common sence response to my question.

Fact there is no release date. We're constantly adding new features and finding bugs in them. We've got 3 new callouts: Bomb Threat, Domestic Violence, and Gang Hideout. Also all old callouts have been polished with more features and more stability.

We haven't gave relase dates because we don't have ones yet. We can't just go and assume it to be ready at some point. We have to give the devs time to work out all the problems and develope them in no rush or without some "deadlines". And we're doing just good, so how about some common sense?

What I've found that fixes the issue for me is to right click, and HOLD right click while pressing E to arrest. This has a higher sucess rate for me anyway. Try it and see if it works. Let me know.

Harper: Try doing what DanX stated, as I've had the same problem although it only happens on rare occasions for me.

To the developers: Great job working with what you have been given. A forced release wasn't what you guys had planned, but most of the community understands that the product we were given was not ready and I'm happy to fight through the bugs until the true release. Keep up the great work!
