EA cancels new Command and Conquer

Featured Replies

What are your thoughts? Were you looking forward to this? In my opinion, they did the right thing by cancelling it. It may have killed the entire franchise. But, knowing EA they probably did it because they realized they would not make any money off it.

Article from PCGamer here (http://www.pcgamer.com/2013/10/29/command-conquer-cancelled-devs-admit-they-were-not-making-the-game-you-want-to-play/).

Invenio, Investigatio, Imperium

The series really lost control of what it really was in simplest form, an RTS. I mean, it got lost in the high grass.

I can say I'm happy with an EA decision this year! (That's one off the New Year's Resolution)

When I got the Alpha invite to play it I could not wait to get home, C&C was the first PC game I ever played and still have it. I played the Alpha for about 10 minutes and thought to myself "This won't end good" I was way NOT impressed with it and never looked back, I still enjoy me a good old RA Skirmish but I am happy to see they woke up with this latest one. Maybe they will take it back to the drawing board and do it right.

Spoiler: They won't. It's EA after all!

HAHA I tend to agree. Origin kinda annoyed me, When I got the new Sim City I was like "WTF" I don't like that I MUST be connected to the internet just to play the game that I purchased. That being said the new Sim City is nothing to call home about ether, Or battlefield, or need for speed, or..........Wait why am I still playing EA games?
