oooo I wonder what new things will be in V.3, have you thought of adding a auto cam, for instance like press ALT D to turn on ( like normal ) the things look normal like usual ( I mean the unit number and all the other stuff that pops up ) and say you just have a dash cam view and you don't want the white circle thing to come on. So ur on patrol ( with dash cam and dash cam on ) and a guy behind you is speeding really fast but slows down when he gets near you like usual. Well you could add something like it automaticly detects if he's speeding from like 100 feet away or so, and when it detects he's speeding it comes up with say 65 MPH flashing red. That would be cool than having to manually do it with alt R.Then again it isnt my mod it's just a suggestion :)

I don't understand how to set the max apeed to have the radar turn red when a vehicle goes over a set speed

Sniper, the .rar file has been broken for a while..

Every time I try to extract the contents of it I get "File not found" or some error.

The auto-installer also seems to want to add /Grand Theft Auto IV to the end of my install directory when I select the EFLC folder.

@crsmedic30: It is the last line of the .ini, measured in meters per second.

@Harper: Do you mean "Unknown Method" for the files in the folder? That is a known issue with WinRar. I am not sure why it does it but make sure you have the latest version and if not, complain to the developers and switch to a archive manager that actually works [hint]7zip[/hint].

I fixed it by heading into my EFLC folder, moving the contents of the scripts folder (which was inside EFLC > Grand Theft Auto IV) to my EFLC Scripts folder and then deleting the GTA IV one which the installer created for some reason

Do you have it on steam? The installer guesses the location using registry keys and defaults to GTA IV if not found.

@sniper296 I'm sorry I mean in game when your setting up on a road how do u change when the radar alerts and turns red ex say speed limit is at 55 and u wanna go after ppl that reach 58 mph the radar lights up read when the break ypur set speed limit right now mine is at 40mph but idk how to change it during game play for different areas of town

Just tab out of the game and change the value in the .ini, it should update the value before each scan.

I just have one small request, that I hope is reasonable, I'd love to be able to set two buttons to activate DashCam, one turns on the regular Provido style, the other will turn on the Classic. I'd rather have it added in this way rather than messing with all my files.

Hey, I cannot seem to get the dash cam to work. I downloaded the .zip archive and put the files where they're supposed to go, but when I load the game, a message comes up that says, "Error in script IVDashCam.Core". Does anyone know how to fix it?

Edit: Never mind. I reinstalled it with the automatic installer.
