[ SECURITY ] Ubisoft / Uplay passwords alert

Featured Replies

A few hours ago, Ubisoft spoke about a security issue and advice everybody to change Uplay/Ubisoft password.

You should have an email about this, it is not a hoax/phishing (check that you have security.ubi.com in the link).

They advice you as well to change your passwords on other sites/apps if you use the same or a similar one.

PS : I guess that a lot of people already seen that, as me, a few hours ago, but I post this for the others, because it's quite important & I know that some people here have Ubisoft account/games (FarCry, Driver, ...).

They'll send you an e-mail. I got mine this morning and changed my password when I got home from work.

Only thing my ubisoft account is used for is an occasional game of Rainbow Six: Vegas 2.

I've got no bank details on there, so I'm not fussed. I'll change it when I find the time

Processor: Intel i5-6600 @ 3.30GHz

GPU: MSI ARMOR GeForce GTX 1080 OC

Ram: 16GB Skylake

The e-mail says your financial stuff shouldn't be compromised anyway, just game account stuff.
