I was watching a few cop shows, and I wanted to know what shows were/are your favourites?

 

For me, I gotta say that Flashpoint was my favourite mostly because it was based in Toronto (T-Dot anyone?) and because there was quite a bit of action and drama. Now that it's finished, I think I've started to lean towards Rookie Blue (coincidently also based on Toronto) but it's missing certain aspects that I loved in Flashpoint.

 

What's your favourite?

Both  of those are great shows and love watching them but I just watched a few episodes of that show Boston's Finest and that is a pretty good show.

The problem I run into when I watch these types of shows is that they are dramas involving police procedural work. I dislike dramas.

 

For my contribution I am gonna go way back and say CHiPs, that was the last time I really invested myself in a police show.

C.O.P.S is my favorite, because it not always just action based like alot of people think cops are...

I like Alaska State Troopers and Border Patrol because of the action

(T-Dot anyone?)

I don't watch many, but the ones that I sometimes see and enjoy are Flashpoint, Hawaii Five-O, and Border Patrol. I can't remember the others.

Alaska State Troopers, Police P.O.V. and Cops are all great. Southland is entertaining. The best fire show out there was Firehouse USA: Boston.

Hawaii Five-O, COPS, and Bait Car.

Hawaii Five-0, NCIS, COPS, and on the comedic side Psych.

Miami Vice !

And I'm not kidding, it's my favourite procedural show.

Flashpoint, NCIS, and Third Watch (oldie) hands down.

Yeah ThirdWatch is excellent too. I also like TJ Hooker, SouthLAnd, and some others, but less than ThirdWatch.

And I'm gonna say this again, Miami Vice was so epic <3

There are a lot of great shows and it can be hard to pick

SouthLAnd takes the cake, but then again there is COPS and Alaska State Troopers.

Flashpoint was the best until it was cancelled, so now I watch Longmire or Alaska State Troopers.

i would say NYC 22 is at the top of my list,

followed by: Flashpoint, Cops, Campus PD, and Vegas Strip

and ill throw southland and bostons finest out there;

cant stand "love affair" cop shows like Rookie Blue though.

 

and to go slightly off base;

DEA Was a good federal agency show

Ive never seen NYC 22

nyc 22  one of those shows that wasnt really given a chance on that revolving door network known as CBS; came in early 2012 and left after 1 season
