TNT Reportedly in talks for a SouthLAnd MOVIE.

My god, I so hope this is true.. I really, really hope this is true.

WARNING: FINALE SPOILERS

According to sources, TNT are in talks to create a two hour "wrap up" movie for SouthLAnd. Whilst it would spell the end of the franchise, fans (like myself) have been itching to see how it all ends for months since the finale.

TNT has canceled underrated Los Angeles cop drama "Southland" after five seasons on the air. The drama, which aired for one season on NBC before being picked up by TNT, starred Ben McKenzie and Michael Cudlitz.

"TNT has made the difficult decision not to renew Southland for another season," the network says in a statement. "We are enormously proud of Southland, which stands as one of the best police dramas ever made. Executive producers John Wells, Chris Chulack and Jonathan Lisco, along with creator Ann Biderman and our partners at Warner Bros. Television, have given us five seasons of powerful, unforgettable storytelling, for which we are deeply grateful. We also want to thank the amazing cast for their impassioned, no-holds-barred performances, and the production team for their tenacity shooting on the streets of real-world Los Angeles. We wish everyone associated with Southland the very best."

Because Season 5 ended on a shocking cliffhanger, there are reports that TNT is considering a two-hour wrap up movie to tie up the loose ends. In the Season 5 finale, Ben was branded a dirty cop and Cooper was shot by officers after assaulting a neighbor.

After the announcement, McKenzie tweeted, "To all the fans of #Southland who followed us through the years through thick and very thin, I sincerely thank you. We are kindred spirits."

Thoughts? What would you like to see in the movie?

Additionally, although it won't do much, there's a petition to get a sixth season, it can be found here: http://www.change.org/petitions/turner-network-television-tnt-renewal-of-southland-season-6

I'm glad about that; I really don't like cliffhangers.

Well, I don't either like when a good show is finished (like Third Watch), but all good things come to an end :/

Anyway, if they're really planning to do a movie, I guess that it won't come soon. But that would be great.
