SPARTAN Police System

    About this system. A new mixed M-D-C and R-M-S (Records Management System). What I hope to accomplish is to add a fun and realistic game play that can be added to your current GTA experience. I understand that there are many different systems like this out there already but this one is different. This system is being designed with user convenience in mind. An officer with my local department and stepfather (current police officer) are helping me design around the kinks and bumps they are having with their current systems.

 

    Specs of this system. It is currently being developed and run on the latest options: PHP 5.4.15, HTML5, and MYSQL 5.7. How this system is going to avoid some problems right off the bat is that I am not going to run this solely on my server or the LCPDFR server (if they were to grant me that option). It would be installed onto your clan server (if you had one if you don't have one then I could help you set one up for you (I have my own web design company)) to ensure the system is self sufficient on your own server.

 

    Misc. Information. As the title says that this is a work in progress and may not be done within the next month or so. I just want to see if any clan owners or members would like to see this system in service. What I hope to add in the future the ability to write out traffic cards (reports) and accident reports. If you have any ideas please post them below or PM me.  A small feature list and some pictures are listed below, please tell me what you think! 

 

Features:

1. Thirteen level encryption password protection 
2. Up to triple level accounts (officer and corporal levels are standard)   
3. Create and submit incident or traffic forms
4. Archive reports for up to 1 year
5. Car to Car text chatting system
6. Random report number generated and tagged to report submissions
7. Ability to add users to your system
8. Ability to approve or reject an officer submission (corporals)

May 22, 2013 -- Started work on adding users to the database & started to work on the traffic stop report 

May 26, 2013 -- Finished frame work and designs. Just need to work out bugs!

Does it rely on MySQL 5.7, or would it work on 5.5? Likewise, does it rely on PHP 5.4, or would it work on PHP 5.3?

I have yet to test it on older versions but I am positive it would work.
