How to make bus move

Featured Replies

Does anyone know what to change the settings so buses will pull out of the way like normal traffic?

Cheers  :thumbsup:

You can do that with some Traffic Mods like Trafficflow

I'm using traffic flow, but buses still won't move when sirens are on?

I am not sure if this is right, but I believe that you have to be 1 car length behind it to make it move to the side of the road, but the problem is that the bus is 2 car lengths, so it won't really "detect" the sirens.

As said before, I'm not sure, it's just a theory I have.

Buses, Dump Trucks, Delivery Vans, and PD Cruisers don't move for sirens in GTAIV.  I wish there was a script though.....

Or you can use Siren Control Tool by Moerdecki. You have to press "3" on your Numpad after you've installed it, that's the Airhorn I think (not sure sorry) and then he will move :) It works on all vehicles actually.

Will it work with ELS?

Due to a conflict with my simple trainer, here is my setup:

N is auto change

M is silent, but they pull over

airhorn is my middle mouse button.

[ CONTROLS ] // See 'virtual key codes' for key ID's...

ToggleAutoSiren = 78 // N
MuteSirenSound = 77 // M
SoundCarHorn = 4 // Middle Mouse

[ TIME ] // (time goes in milliseconds) Example: 1000 = 1 second

AutoSirenInterval = 5000 // 5 seconds
FireHornInterval1 = 5000 // 5 seconds
FireHornInterval2 = 2500 // 2,5 second
FireHornDuration = 1500 // 1,5 second

[ SETTINGS ] // Use: 0 - no, 1 - yes

EnableStatusIcons = 1 // Yes
EnableFireTruckHorn = 1 // Yes
EnablePullOverOnHorn = 1 // Yes

In your vehicles.meta file, use "CTRL+F" to find "FLAG_BIG". Delete every "FLAG_BIG" you see and make sure you leave no space between the other flags and the angle brackets. All trucks, buses, and large vehicles that normally won't move over will now yield when you have lights and sirens on.
