This was posted under the comments section of ELS v7 download page     YOU MUST TURN IT ON IN THE ELS CONFIG SETTINGS!!! OPEN THE ELS FILE IN NOTEPAD AND SCROLL DOWN IT'LL SAY POLICE, POLICE2,

When i press the J to turn on all my sirens my car window just gets fixed so i can never shoot out the window. Please someone help. I do have Simple native trainer keys disabled.

This is a known side-effect of ELS.  Because of the way that GTA IV's extras-system is coded, a vehicle with ELS lighting activated will constantly repair itself.

DISCLAIMER: The above explanation is overtly simplified, shortened, and may have some inaccuracies.

All ELS versions have this problem.

The minute you turn on lights, your car is effectively put in an "auto repair" or a "god mode" state, even if you haven't enabled God Mode using a trainer.

To my knowledge, there is no way of fixing this.

This is and always will be a side effect of ELS

Just read the 'readme' file! There is also an ELS support thread somewhere on LCPDFR.com, so look there. I thought we were done with the ELS v7 threads, but here we go again.

SCNG FTW!!
