GTA V: NEW Trailers Video and Discussion

Featured Replies

Okay okay okay.

If those are the real GTA V graphics, maybe not, but IF they are, Rockstar will get more money from me.

If the map is giant, bigger than SA, Rockstar will get more money from me.

If the cars and helis and planes and bikes and trucks and everything in the game adds up to at least 150 vehicles, Rockstar will get more money from me.

If we can own houses own our cars own garages own land and own a loooot of stuff, Rockstar will get more money from me.

BUT, I'd need a trainer or cheats as soon as the game is released to get all the cars and stuff. :D

In all honesty, I am just super excited for this game. I can't wait the three more months (September?) until it comes out.

Buddy, almost every new game released is better than the previous installment.

1. Yup, They are.

2. Its bigger than IV, SA and RDR combined.

3. It wouldn't surprise me, looks like theres tons of vehicles in this one

4. Already semi-confirmed. You can buy businesses however like in Vice City

Processor: Intel i5-6600 @ 3.30GHz

GPU: MSI ARMOR GeForce GTX 1080 OC

Ram: 16GB Skylake

That's not always true, Troy. A lot of newer games are worst than the older or previous ones.

Examples: GRID 1 is better than GRID 2, GTA SA is better than GTA IV, the old NFS games are better than the new ones.

So, GTA V looks a lot better, but might (probably not, though) be worst than GTA IV.

Well that is your personal opinion. You cannot just dismiss the sales of GRID 2, GTA:IV, newer NFS games and others which run on a newer engine with better graphics, more features, and far better looking character/car models. Just because a handful of people do not have powerful enough systems to run the newer games and hence badmouth it doesn't mean that the game itself is bad.

More sales doesn't always equal better game. I'm sure a lot of people will agree that GTA SA's gameplay was much better than IV's, but (obviously) IV's graphics are better. I'm pretty sure people not having a good system isn't what makes a game good or bad....Besides, GTA V won't even be out on PC (right away, hopefully later), so what does having a poor PC have to do with GTA V being better than GTA IV?

Also, like others have said, only trust Rockstar's official accounts and their website.

More sales mean people are liking the game and spreading the word. So it evidently means the game is good. I do not know how you're concluding that 'more sales don't always equal better game' because for companies, its all about profit. Because when you say that, you might as well say: Big rigs over the road > NFS MW

Also, make it clear what do you exactly mean by gameplay? While comparing the stock versions of both games I found that the peds are equipped with a large collection of varying ambient animations and voices, the cars are way better and there is a better control over the vehicle you're driving, the cutscenes are all proper and feature smoother animations than in SA, the water is better, the explosion is better, the textures are better, the models are better, the ped and car paths are better, the whole fuckin engine is better *catches breath*... At least this is what all comes together and constitutes the word 'gameplay' for me and many others. I don't know which gameplay YOU are talking about.

The first thing I learned in Statistics is that high concordance does not mean causality. Just because there is a high concordance between high sales and good games doesn't mean that good games cause high sales. Obviously a lot of people buy good games, but I'll show you an example: Euro Truck Simulator 2 is an excellent game, but does it get as many sales as the more popular games like GTA and Call of Duty? Probably not. Those games get a lot of sales because they are well known. Throw "Call of Duty" in the name and a whole lot of people will buy it. By gameplay, I mean what you actually do in the game. I would consider the water, explosions, textures, and models part of graphics not gameplay. In SA there are a lot more little things you can do - hook a trailer to a truck, tow a car with a tow truck, tow things with tractors, just drive tractors and tow trucks, fly planes, ride bikes, drive a hovercraft, drive a monster truck, etc etc etc. People always say SA is better because it is more arcade-y, also, whereas IV is more serious.

(BTW, I know CoD and ETS are two completely different games, but based on what you say, CoD is automatically better than ETS because of sales. A game being good is someone's opinion. When I go to buy a game, I don't look up its sales, I look up videos of the game.)

And this is off topic now, let's get back to GTA V.

"Work and ideas get stolen, then you keep moving on doing your thing."

I somehow think the ELS for GTA IV and how people love it might have caused R* to have the same for GTA V LSPD. Too bad nothing is announced about PC. Damn...

I thought GTA V is only for xbox and ps3?

For now, it seems likely though that it will be ported to the next gen systems, namely Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Although nothing is confirmed at this point.
